Dr.
Muhammad Nauman Khan is an esteemed academic specializing in accounting and
finance, currently serving as an Assistant Professor. He earned his Ph.D. in
Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia,
focusing on Islamic microfinance's impact on poverty alleviation. His academic
foundation includes an MSc in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in
Commerce, equipping him with robust expertise across accounting, banking, and
finance disciplines.
With
a prolific record of over 20 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Khan has
significantly contributed to the fields of accounting, Islamic finance, and
financial markets, with his research recognized in leading academic journals.
His work addresses essential themes, including banking efficiency, the
comparative performance of Islamic and conventional financial systems, and the
role of green finance in advancing environmental performance and sustainable
growth within Islamic economies.
In
his academic role, Dr. Khan has taught diverse courses, such as Advanced
Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Financial Accounting. He also
plays a vital role in quality assurance and curriculum development, actively
contributing to NCAAA and AACSB accreditation processes. Complementing his
academic career, Dr. Khan brings practical industry experience from his tenure
at Meezan Bank, where he held critical roles in credit administration and
Islamic finance operations. His blend of academic rigor and professional

NCAAA: Accreditation of BSBA in Finance
During the current job, I
acquired knowledge through experience of curriculum mapping consistent with the
department goals, program learning goals, course learning outcomes, teaching
strategies and assessments (direct and indirect assessment).
Assurance of learning (AoL)
Cycle: Developed my skills and experience in designing AOL cycle as per the
competencies assured, assessed and closing of the AoL loop at all levels (8
semester) for programs BSBA in Finance.
Being a member of the quality
and development team of the department of Finance actively participated in
producing the self-study and self-evaluation reports of the program, BSBA
Finance submitted to NCAAA in June, 2019. Being a member of the quality team I
carried different tasks including
