About Program

The marketing track aims at giving students the required skills necessary for discovering the needs and desires of customers in order to develop a group of products or services capable of satisfying those needs and of insuring a good profit for the organization within an acceptable time frame through the focus on marketing tools such as the product, distribution, promotion and price.
Business Administration graduates in the field of Marketing have a broad range of challenging and rewarding job opportunities in private and public organizations as marketing executive, marketing researcher, media planner, etc.

Career Opportunities

  • Marketing is a diverse field with many exciting career paths. Here are some of the top careers in marketing, each offering unique opportunities and challenges:
  • Marketing Manager: Oversees the marketing department, develops strategies, and ensures the implementation of marketing plans. They often manage budgets, analyze market trends, and coordinate campaigns.
  • Product Marketing Manager: Focuses on marketing a specific product or product line. They work on product positioning, launch strategies, and sales enablement to ensure the product meets market needs.
  • Customer Relationship Manager (CRM): Manages and analyzes customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
  • Brand Manager: Responsible for maintaining and enhancing a brand’s image and reputation. They develop brand strategies, conduct market research, and work on product positioning and messaging.
  • Content Marketing Manager: Creates and manages content strategies to engage and inform the target audience. This role involves writing, editing, and overseeing the production of content such as blog posts, videos, and infographics.
  • Social Media Manager: Manages a company's social media presence, creates content, and engages with followers. They analyze social media metrics to improve performance and stay current with social media trends.
  • Market Research Analyst: Studies market conditions to examine potential sales of a product or service. They collect and analyze data on consumers and competitors to provide insights that guide marketing strategies.
  • Advertising Manager: Develops and oversees advertising campaigns across various media. They work with creative teams, media planners, and clients to ensure effective ad placement and messaging.
  • Public Relations Specialist: Manages a company's public image and handles media relations. They write press releases, organize events, and work on strategies to improve or maintain a positive public perception.
  • Marketing Analyst: Uses data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns. They provide insights based on metrics and help guide decision-making for future marketing efforts.

Program Duration
  • The minimum number of semesters for a Bachelor's degree is six regular semesters and one summer (3.5 academic years).
  • The maximum number of semesters for a Bachelor's degree is twenty-four semesters (twelve academic years) excluding summers.

Method of Delivery

The method of teaching for all members in FBS full-time teaching/ blended learning 50% synchronous and 50% asynchronous.
Lecture attendance is mandatory at least once a week (or twice for some courses) for each registered course. Tutorials are offered from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and can be scheduled for 1 or 2 days per week to accommodate working students.
