Associate Professor of Information Systems
Dr. ahmed Elashry is an Associate Professor of Information
Systems with extensive academic and research experience in the field of
information technology, data management, and digital transformation. He holds a
Ph.D. in Information Systems from Mansoura University, Egypt and has been
actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic leadership for over 12
years.
Throughout his career, Dr. ahmed Elashry has contributed to
various research areas, including database systems, business intelligence, BioInformatics, GIS, artificial intelligence applications, and cybersecurity. His research has been
published in esteemed international journals and conferences, reflecting his
commitment to advancing knowledge in the field.
In addition to his research endeavors, Dr. ahmed Elashry has
been involved in curriculum development, supervising postgraduate students, and
collaborating with industry partners on innovative IT solutions. He has also
served as a reviewer for several scientific journals and conferences, further
strengthening his impact on the academic community.
Dr. ahmed Elashry is dedicated to fostering an engaging and
dynamic learning environment, equipping students with the necessary skills to
thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape. His passion for education and
research continues to drive his contributions to the field of Information
Systems.
Dr. Ahmed Elashry possesses more than twelve years of teaching and academic experience in the fields of information systems and computer science, gained through his work at several prestigious academic institutions in Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has taught a wide range of specialized courses, including Information Systems, Advanced Databases, Systems Analysis and Design, Decision Support Systems, Data Mining and Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Geographic Information Systems, Network Fundamentals and Network Security, Information Technology Project Management, and other technical and applied courses. This experience reflects his continuous commitment to enhancing the educational process and employing modern methods and technologies to improve learning outcomes and develop students’ academic and professional skills.
Dr. Ahmed Elashry has distinguished academic and professional experience in information systems and computer science, spanning more than 12 years, gained through his work at several reputable academic institutions in Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Throughout his academic career.
he has held various academic and administrative positions, including associate professor of information systems, assistant professor, and lecturer, in addition to leadership roles related to academic affairs, quality assurance, assessment, and academic advising. He has also contributed to the development and design of study plans for several distinguished academic programs in alignment with quality standards and contemporary trends in higher education.
Furthermore, he has actively contributed to academic supervision, thesis evaluation, scientific research, and publication in internationally refereed journals. These diverse experiences reflect his sustained commitment to academic excellence and the continuous development of teaching and research practices to prepare qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with modern technological and knowledge advancements.
