Dr. Bandar Ali Al-Rami Al-Ghamdi, holds a PhD from Universite de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in 2015, Reims, France , the M.Sc. degree in Information Technology from De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom, in 2008 and the B.Cs. degree in Computer Sciences from the University of King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2003.
Currently he is a Dean of Faculty of Computer Studies at Arab Open University, Riyadh, KSA. His research interests are Sensor Networks, Distributed Systems, eHealth Systems, Networking, Testing, Verification, Software Engineering and Real-Time Systems. He has multiple publications in national and international sources.

- Review, SWOT analysis and any other report requested for.
- Projection of departmental budget.
- Projection of new sections and books every semester.
- Ensure new staff induction before and the beginning of first tutorial.
- Ensure first distribution of workload and teaching hours.
- To ensure dissemination of all pertaining information to tutors as course calendar, meeting schedule, standby tutorial arrangement in case of absence, appraisal form etc.
- Regular meeting with Branch Course Coordinators BCCs and tutors.
- Ensure and encourage academic integrity amongst staff and students.
