Dr. Fatma Masmoudi is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Computer Studies at the Arab Open University. She received her PhD in computer science from the University of Sfax, Tunisia in 2018, and her research focuses on accountability in multi-user cloud computing services.
Her research interests include machine learning, data science, cloud computing, business intelligence, data governance, and security and privacy. Dr. Fatma Masmoudi has numerous publications in prestigious international journals and IEEE conferences, and her research applications extend to smart cities, healthcare, cybersecurity, and intelligent systems.
Dr. Fatma Masmoudi serves as the Women in Data Science Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa, actively promoting women's participation in data science in collaboration with Stanford University.
She is a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) specialist. She is also a member of the Saudi Data Science Society and the Saudi Society for Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems. Her work links academic research, applied AI solutions, and capacity building through hackathons, student innovations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
