Student Fund Scholarship
Based on the university’s belief of the importance of education, it has allocated grants to students who are in
financial distress in order to pursue their education according to the following terms and conditions:
- Grants do not include the educational diploma program.
- The student must be regular in the study and register for the courses in the semester in which he/she applies for the grant.
- The student must have completed 16 hours and a minimum of 2.00 of 4.
- The applicant must not have any previous financial obligations.
- The student must pay the fees other than the tuition fees until the decision of the Student Fund Committee approve the grant.
Documents required for the application for the Student Fund Scholarship
- A statement of salary of the breadwinner/supporter certified by the official authorities (Chamber of Commerce if he/she works in the private sector).
- Statement of bank account for the last six months for the supporter (the statement must include the amount of salary for each month).
- Copy of the house lease agreement.
- A copy of the Saudi family card and a copy of the identity of the family members to non-Saudis.
- Student’s grades (academic record).
- A copy of the student's course time table containing the courses registered for the concerned semester.
- Writing a letter requesting scholarship.
- Copy of the social security form - for Saudi women and if any other supporting documents that can be attached.
- Please prepare and attach the required documents to complete the application process in one file in the form of "PDF" only.

- The university has the right to exclude any incomplete application according to the conditions and requirements mentioned above or if incorrect information is given.
Excellence Scholarships
Scholarships are given to outstanding students who have cumulative GPA of (3.67-4.00), completed at least two semesters at Arab Open University, and accomplished at least (32 credit hours).
Notes
- The scholarship includes fees for credit hours only.
- The number of hours completed will be taken into account in the comparison
