As a key enabler of AOU’s mission to provide high quality education, the IT Department is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining all information systems and technology services across the university’s campuses in Saudi Arabia.
The department’s responsibilities include managing network infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity and data protection and supporting various academic and administrative applications.
In addition, the IT Department leads digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience, promoting efficiency, and fostering innovation in teaching, learning, and university administration. The team also provides continuous technical support to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring uninterrupted access to essential online resources and services.
